Full back piece

Im gonna take the plunge and get my complete back done, ive wanted this for a long time.

Im after a fantasy scene from over the shoulders and round the sides, down to the top of my arse. Shit loads of colour wanted.

Does anyone know of any decent sites to get ideas from?

Speak to a tattooist first, back pieces are very complex and take a long time. Be prepared for lots of 6-8 hour sessions of sitting still in very uncomfrotable positions. I started doing my back piece 4 years ago and it still isn't complete. I found that after each session I could hardly walk due to muscle pain. I need around 10 more hours of fine lines and shading.

Like TF said, it's gonna be a lot of sitting and uncomfort. An area the size of your hand will take around 4 hours to shade tattoo and a couple to outline (depending on how intricate the design and colourful it is)

For inspiration, look at the full body tattoo's japanese style on google images, should provide some inspiration, but decide on style (i.e. Japanese, Mauri, Fantasy etc) first.

i have three on my back (should post but u know me shy !) and a few others over my body the only things i regret is
shouldnt of got any on my neck
and also should have got a couple a big worthwhile tats instead of wee ones

A good point my wife always brings up about my back, I never get to see it unless its in a photo!!

Think long and hard before you do it, it will be a massive project and commitment.
